Geography of Memory

Tedo Rekhviashvili’s solo exhibition, Geography of Memory, invites viewers on a journey through landscapes where memory and ethereal nature intertwine. Inspired by the steppe regions of Samtskhe-Javakheti and his childhood impressions of these places, Tedo’s work captures the essence of Georgian nature filtered through the lens of personal reflection and deeply rooted craftsmanship. Through layered brushwork, nuanced color, and an intuitive handling of light and form, Tedo creates semi-geometric abstractions that balance the raw beauty of nature, reflecting both the rhythm of the place and his commitment to experimentation and tradition.
